“Hedge your best” 24/02/2020

Last week, we accommodated Francis McCaughey and his students from Ayrshire College for a days hedge-laying with our experienced duo George Rush and James Dorrian.

They enjoyed working as a team, in pairs siding up and then laying.

Yesterday and today we had Alan Bryce, a Farm Woodland Advisor from The Woodland Trust down visiting us from Perthshire.

Alan enjoyed both days hedge laying Midland Bullock style with two of our award-winning layers James Dorrian and Johnathan Dinwoodie.
A skill that is very much so growing in demand and popularity.
