Warm timber cabins on the edge of the hill ground, built for stargazers, walkers and anyone who wants the wild version of Craigengillan.

The cabins trade chandeliers for constellations. By day you are minutes from the gorge, the stables and the loch; by night the Galloway sky does things city visitors don't quite believe.

Each cabin sleeps two to four in warmth and simplicity: a proper bed, a kitchenette, an en-suite shower room, and a fire pit and picnic bench on the gravel outside. Bring boots, books and no particular plans.
